About the WEC policies and measures
This database on energy efficiency policies and measures has been prepared by Enerdata for the WEC Knowledge on Energy
Efficiency with the support of ADEME.
The database describes energy efficiency policies and measures carried in about 90 countries throughout the world. The information has been mainly collected from a survey conducted in about 50 countries. It has been completely by a literature review for the remaining countries that included national energy efficiency plans and the information contained in international data bases, such as MURE on policies and measures for EU countries, IEA for non-EU countries and the IEA Sustainable Buildings Centre for main policies on buildings, CLASP for labels and regulation, and policy reviews by APERC and CEPAL.
